The project CrossCircular is being carried out as part of the Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) programme and is co-financed by the European Union, Wallonia region, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy (NRW), Province of Limburg (NL), and Ministry of Economic Affairs (NL).
This project aims to establish a sustainable framework for interdisciplinary and cross-border education on circularity, forming the basis for a trinational curriculum. The framework is codeveloped with input from MR businesses, ensuring alignment of academic expertise with industry needs.
Students will study at one university and complement their learning with training from other MR universities and internships with businesses. Cross-border collaboration is essential to harmonize education systems, overcome legal and administrative barriers, and foster cooperation between universities and companies in MR. This comprehensive partnership is a blueprint for future educational frameworks.
