Susanne Sivonen LL.M.
Researcher
Susanne Sivonen is a legal researcher specialising in cross-border healthcare and labour mobility. She holds a master’s degree in European Law (LL.M.) with the distinction cum laude and is currently carrying out PhD research on cross-border healthcare at UM Faculty of Law. With Nordic roots from Finland, she contributes to academic and policy-oriented research and several INTERREG-projects at ITEM on cross-border mobility and cooperation especially in the fields of healthcare, labour market and education in the Benelux-Germany border regions. She is also an expert at B-solutions and at the Schakelpunt (Cross-Border Coordination Point Flanders-Netherlands) advising on solving border obstacles. Furthermore, she is also involved in teaching courses on International and European law, and Dutch health law.
