This research report is the background document explaining the theoretical and conceptual background of the methodology for assessing the quality of cross-border cooperation and going into more detail on the methods developed. It documents the scientific background to the development of the methodology and its application.
About the CrossQuality-project: Crossquality is a project that was financed by the European Interreg EMR funding and the European Union. It has the aim to investigate the possible qualitative indicators of the Interreg-programme. As there are no qualitative indicators for the evaluation of Interreg projects yet, this project is a guideline for the whole European territory.
