Since 1 September 2023, Anja has been coordinator at knowledge institute ITEM where she leads the day-to-day office and coaches. She provides advice on organisation and operations, reporting to the director. Her coordination of daily operations includes the portfolios HR, Finance, Projects, Events, Reports and annual plans and Communication. She acts as liaison to and liaises between internal and external stakeholders.

Anja has already gained many years of management experience in higher education and in recent years mainly within the university in the field of sustainability. However, she has also held other roles in (management of) education, research and operations.
