Anouk Bollen has been appointed professor of Cross-border Pension Tax Law at Maastricht University and has been with the Department of Tax Law since 1996. She studied tax law at the same university (1991-1995) and obtained her PhD in 2004. She is a deputy judge at the Zeeland-West Brabant District Court and a member of the NOAB Disciplinary Board. She was director of the Double Degree Master Programme in International and European Tax Law during the period (2015 – 2020). Since 2015, she has been a visiting professor at the University of Aruba. Since 2015, she has been director of ITEM / Institute for Transnational and Euregional Cross-border Cooperation and Mobility.
